how to make a woman happy

Men, get ready. You are about to discover the secret that will revolutionize your relationships.

You are going to learn how to make the love of your life happy.

And it isn't as expensive and complicated as you may think. The secret is known as the three "A's". Integrating these elements into your daily life will guarantee you an exciting, loving, and dynamic relationship. The three "A's" are attention, affection and appreciation. If you give your wife the attention she needs, the affection she longs for and the appreciation she deserves, then you are definitely going to make her happy.

Now, before we begin, I'm going to let you in on an open secret.

Men and Women are Different.

Now, I don't know if they really come from different planets or not, but they are definitely, undeniably different from each other. And one of the ways in which those differences come out is in the needs that each one has from a relationship.

Let's be honest. Who, really, understands relationships on a deeper level - men or women? For some reason, women seem to navigate relationships intuitively. We, on the other hand...need some tips.

So what can we do? How can we have a beautiful relationship with someone who takes relationships so seriously? We need to invest some time into it. 24/7.

And if we do it well, then she is going to take all that we've put in, turn it around and give back so much more - which will make us happier than we ever dreamed we could be. That's the cycle around which relationships revolve.

That said, let's get moving.

The Three A's.

We'll start with appreciation.

In order to understand what a women needs in order to feel appreciated, let's listen in on a conversation between Maye and her mom, and Yek and his dad.

"Hi, Mom, how are you?"

"Great, Maye. How are you? How was Sai's wedding? Tell me everything!"

"Oh, Mom, it was beautiful. Beth's dress was stunning, like she stepped out of a fairy tale. Puffed sleeves, Belgian lace, real seawater pearls, and the fabric was the most gorgeous satin I've ever seen."

"What was her bouquet like?"

"All roses. Cream, white, light pink. And the centerpieces had the same roses, with candles."

"What did you wear?"

You get the picture.

Now we'll flash to Yek's conversation with his dad.

"Hi, Dad."

"Hi, Yek. How's it going?"

"Great. You?"

"Just fine. How was the wedding?"

"Beautiful."

"Glad to hear it. Love you, son. Take care."

"Love you too, Dad."

End of dialogue.

Why did it take Maye longer to say hello to her mom than Yek's whole conversation with his dad? Because men and women are different. Women go into detail because they use words to connect on an emotional level. Men, on the other hand, use words in order to communicate information. That's why just saying hello and goodbye for a woman can take longer than an entire conversation for a man.

Understanding this is the key to appreciating your wife. If you really want to make her feel appreciated, then allow her to connect to you emotionally through those details. That's what she needs.

Now you understand why, when you ask her how work was today, she answers, "Oh, at the beginning it was great. I was walking down the street, looking at the sky and thinking that maybe..." She's connecting to you.

Be open enough to listen.

She'll feel that you appreciate who she is and what she thinks and feels. And if you want to throw in a bonus now and then, so when she asks you the same question, answer her by telling her how crowded the train was, and the coffeemaker was broken so you went down the street to Starbuck's and on the way you met an old college roommate - to you it may sound boring, but she's going to feel great that you're sharing the details of your day. Trust me.

Attention. Give your wife your undivided attention when she talks to you. What's undivided attention? That means assuming "the position." Put the paper down. Put the computer on standby. Turn off the TV ("off", not "mute"). Make eye contact.

Now, you may be thinking, that's not so hard. I can even fake it if I have to, right? Wrong! Remember what we said earlier about women and relationships? Her relationship-radar will tell her that you are spacing out even before you realize it.

So don't take chances. Put aside whatever you're doing, make eye contact and listen to her with your undivided attention. And if you're really too busy at the moment, then assume that position and say, "You know, honey, I really want to hear what you have to say, but I'm right in the middle of something and I can't drop it. As soon as I finish I'll be able to give you my undivided attention, okay?" Good job.

Affection. The number one tool for showing your spouse affection is to use "affectionate tones". What are affectionate tones, you ask? Using affectionate tones means always speaking in a way that conveys love and respect.

See, we men tend to divide the relationship into various components. Part of it includes affection, so then we'll speak in affectionate tones. Paying the bills? Business tones. Parenting? Parenting tones. Going out with friends? Social tones. But for women, everything in the relationship is a relationship. It doesn't matter what you're doing; for her, it's an opportunity to connect.

So if it's time for affection, use affectionate tones. Balancing the checkbook? Affectionate tones. Whatever you're doing, use affectionate tones.

Now, go find your soul mate. Start giving her the three A's. You'll be shocked at how immediate the results are, and how your relationship will be stronger and more loving than you ever thought it could be.

Take Note: For those lusty minds thinking about sex would made relationship even better, well your wrong, because it doesn't count wether your good in bed or not but what matters most is the way how you handle and carry your relationship to the fullest level of love.

dating moves

Four Tips on " How to get a woman interested "
1. Women hate how desperation smells, It’s all about you
and how you handle yourself

2. Women also act shy as they look downward, hoping the man catches them doing so. What they are doing is really inviting us into their world. Even a slight smile is perhaps an invitation to move forward.

3. Never approach a woman too directly and stare down at her as she’ll begin to find you too intimidating or even creepy. An indirect approach is best. Try to also stay away from the usual pick-up lines such as the weather, buying her a drink etc.

4. you TEASED her mind by doing something unexpected… you said hi, then walked away.

This leaves her to wonder things like:

“Why did he leave?”

“Maybe he thought I was attractive, but then when I opened my mouth he didn’t like my personality.”

“Why didn’t he offer to buy me a drink or come on to me like the other guys here?”

Additional Tips

People usually associate romantic dating with expensive candlelight dinners, big bouquets of flowers, wine and chocolates. But do you really know that women are the emotional creatures who craves and live for romance and creative dating? Expensive dates can be romantic BUT cheap dates can be romantic too. After all, it is the heart and the extra mile that you go to, that pulls off the romantic date.

1) Spa – Spending time soaking in a spa milk bath or a therapeutic massage session can be very relaxing and romantic. With the aromatherapy, love petals and the serenity of the spa room can be indeed very romantic.

2) Gardening – Enjoy the afternoon planting and grooming your flowerbed. Planting a young seedling and growing it can be romantic too as the process reflects your time as a couple, spending time and energy to nurture not only the plant but your love as well.

3) Drive – Enjoy the romantic cruise downtown or in the suburban area while viewing the lovely sights. Explore new places or revisit old haunts with the nostalgic romantic feel.

Cheap dating ideas can enable you to spend quality and intimate time in relationship. Not to even mention unforgettable. With that extra element of sweet romance, you’re bound to sweep off your date and leave a good impression on you. You’ll be sure that he/she will appreciate and love you even more!

Transformers II, Revenge of the Fallen

Official Site: http://transformersmovie.com

In 17,000 BC, ancient Transformers called the Dynasty of Primes scoured the universe with the intention of draining the energy from stars to create Energon and power the AllSpark, the life source of the Transformers, using a machine called a Sun Harvester. The Primes agreed that life-bearing worlds would be spared, but one of their own betrayed the others and constructed a Sun Harvester on Earth. Unable to beat their brother, the Dynasty sacrificed their bodies in order to hide the Matrix of Leadership, the key used to power the Sun Harvester. The treacherous Prime was dubbed the Fallen, and vowed to seek revenge upon Earth.

In present day, set two years after the events of the first film, Optimus Prime leads NEST, a military organization consisting of American and British troops and his own team of Autobots, which includes newcomers Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt, and the twins Skids and Mudflap. NEST ventures into Shanghai, China. Sideswipe chases and kills Decepticon Sideways. Then before getting killed by Optimus, Demolishor, one of the Decepticons, declares that “the Fallen shall rise again.”

Sam Witwicky heads off to college to continue a normal life, leaving behind his Autobot guardian Bumblebee and his girlfriend Mikaela Banes. He finds a piece of the Allspark, which he gives to Mikaela for safekeeping. Wheelie attempts to steal the shard but is captured by Mikaela. Sam meets his college roommate, Leo Spitz, who runs an alien conspiracy website. He also meets Alice, who makes aggressive advances towards him.

Soundwave, a Decepticon intelligence officer, hacks into a satellite to eavesdrop on the NEST forces, learning the location of the dead Decepticon leader Megatron and another piece of the AllSpark. He deploys Ravage to retrieve the shard, which is then used to resurrect Megatron. Megatron flies through space to a Decepticon spacecraft, where he is reunited with Starscream and his master, the Fallen. The Fallen instructs Megatron to capture Sam, as his mind now contains the Allspark’s knowledge, including the location of the Sun Harvester. Sam has a mental breakdown in his astronomy class, writing Cybertronian symbols on the chalkboard. Mikaela comes to his aid just as Alice attacks, revealed to be a Decepticon Pretender, a Transformer in a human guise. Sam, Mikaela and Leo drive off, running over Alice in the process, but are then captured by Grindor. Scalpel, a Decepticon doctor, prepares to remove Sam’s brain, but Optimus and Bumblebee appear and rescue him. In the following battle, Optimus takes on the Decepticons on his own, killing Grindor, however, he is ultimately killed himself, stabbed from behind by Megatron.

Megatron orders a full-scale assault on the planet. The Fallen speaks to the world and advises them to surrender Sam to the Decepticons or they’ll continue their attack. Sam’s parents are captured by Rampage. Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, the Twins and Wheelie regroup, Leo believing his online rival “RoboWarrior” may be of assistance. The man is revealed to be former Sector Seven agent Simmons. Simmons reveals his hidden alien archive and explains that the Transformers have visited Earth before, as their language is written on ruins all over the world. Wheelie identifies the language as that of the Primes but only a Seeker can translate it; Seekers being used by the Primes to locate suitable stars for harvesting. They find such a Seeker, an aging Decepticon named Jetfire, who defected to the Autobots.

Upon learning the situation, Jetfire teleports the group to Egypt via a space bridge and explains that the tomb of the Primes is located in the surrounding desert, and only a Prime can kill the Fallen. By following the clues, the group find the Matrix in a tomb in Petra, but it crumbles to dust in Sam’s hands. Believing the Matrix can still revive Optimus, Sam collects the dust and instructs Simmons to telephone Major William Lennox to bring the other Autobots and Optimus’ body.

The military arrives in short order, but are tracked by the Decepticons, resulting in an intense battle. During the battle, Bumblebee rescues Sam’s parents from Rampage, killing both him and Ravage in the process. Devastator is then formed and unearths the Sun Harvester in one of Egypt’s pyramids before being blown to pieces by a railgun fired from a nearby destroyer. The airforce carpet bombs the Decepticons, but Sam is caught at the edge of the blast and killed. In a vision, Sam meets with the other Primes, who tell him that the Matrix of Leadership must be earned, which Sam has done. Sam is brought back to life and the Matrix reforms from the dust. Sam uses it to revive Optimus, but the Fallen, with aid from Megatron, steals it shortly thereafter to activate the Sun Harvester. Jetfire, having been mortally wounded by Scorponok, gives up his life and parts to give Optimus the strength he needs to defeat the Fallen. Optimus destroys the Sun Harvester and then fights both Megatron and the Fallen, destroying the Fallen and leaving Megatron heavily wounded. Starscream convinces Megatron to retreat.

The film concludes with Optimus stating that the Transformers and humans are now connected by their histories. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_Revenge_of_the_Fallen

comedy bars in cebu

1.)
22nd Street is a comedy bar located in mango avenue, cebu city. Its next to national book store (famous as it seems like its a landmark for students meetings). It accessible by jeepneys (local mode of transport)which cost around 6php from end to end wherever you stop in a paricular route. And of course taxi is the easiest - just insist on the meter and not a bargain price so you dont pay more. if youre taking your own car there is an available pay parking just behind the building at 20php per car.
Attire is casual, there is an entrance fee of 100php(2USD)and 2 beers that goes with it, so it doesnt really hit you as an entrance fee. The place is always full of laughing bunch of people and often they dont take reservations, so its better to come earlier than 9pm. There is a stage opposite to the entrance door where 5 gay entertainers are singing or acting. They are so funny that its normal to throw a fit of laughter non-stop all night. But there is one thing that you need to keep in mind. Choose your seat wisely, if you are the shy type - dont dare sit in front of the stage, the gays are so daring that they will make you cry for the fun of it, sometimes they take you to the extremes as a subject for their joke, but if you're the bold and daring - then sit as close to the stage as possible. they will never miss you out. You can also sing with them on stage to complete your evening, but the entertainers are quite talented so, you have to level with them or on the extreme - be the opposite and people will cheer on. Or if you prefer to be on the backstage you can just write your favourite song on the napkin provided on your table and the entertainers will sing it for you after calling your your name out loud or addressing your table and making you stand and bow to the public.
This place is highly recommended. must visit when you're in Cebu...believe me you will be laughing even when youre driving back home.

October 2005 review: "I rate this the top bar in Cebu."
April 2006 review: "Best go-go show. Large selection (30ish) of very friendly girls, several really beautiful (8's or 9's); mamasan is pushy about buying (rotgut) tequila for the girls, but at least it's legitimate booze, rather than watered down drink. Tried to barfine mamasan, but she wouldn't go, even at 10K peso offer. Buddy barfined two, and reported an excellent time."

Went to Blackhole in May, no change ever came back from the first drink. They treated me like an idiot when I complained. It is not the first time this has happened to me at Blackhole. So, I won't be back!"
July 2006 review: "A bit gloomy and the dancers are not energetic but definitely some lookers there. The GROs were especially nice and friendly. In general, not much change to the present review and I didn't stay longer than one beer."

Very few girls (<10),>June 2006 review:"I stopped in to ask what the 'Grill' part of the 'Bar and Grill' in the name means. Erik The Red bar

(Next door to Black Hole).
December 19, 2006 review:
New bar, same ownership as BGs / Viking. Prices the same as BGs / Viking.
Nice layout, friendly staff, not pushy.
About to be expanded to over twice the size it is now, IMHO will be in the top 4 bars in Cebu.
Others in my top 4 are Temptation, Viking & BG all within a 40 metre radius...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.)

Lone Star
Location: Queen's Road, Cebu City
July 2005 review:
Prices:
•Cover charge: none
•San Miguel: P65
•Soft drink: P60
•Ladies Drink: P170
•Barfine: P650 to bar, additional P1000 +/- to girl.
Dancer / GRO / staff comments: Friendly. 30-50 Dancers / few GROs / good staff.

Layout / condition of club: Just above street-level, about four steps or ramp to enter (wheelchair-accessible.) Clean, offers both hard seating and couches. Very large central stage.
Sleaze & fun factor: Friendly & fun.
Summary: Very popular, value-for-money foreigner-friendly bar.
October 2005 review: "In the top five bars in Cebu. "
April 2006 review: " Large selection (30ish) of friendly girls; not as many stunners as BG's, but still some excellent choices. Barfined the same lady I had two months ago; she remembered and put on a worthy show of appreciation. Not pushy on drinks for the girls, and the beer is cheap. Lone Star always seems consistent, still one of the best 2-3 places I've found in Cebu."
July 2006 review: "This place has jumped right to the top of my list. I ended up there each one of my 5 nights and I went straight there and no where else on the last 3 nights. It is much better now than when I was there in late 2005. Lots of really friendly bubbly and attractive girls who are keen to have FUN, if not with you then with each other. The big dance floor with 4 or 5 dancers at a time is great - they really dance too and dont just hang around on stage. The dancing group changes rapidly too - around every 10 minutes. Drinks are very reasonable in comparison to other bars - 65 for San Miguel; 170 LDs, and the girls are not pushy and certainly don't harrass customers for drinks. The bar food is also good quality - hot and freshly cooked. It is now clearly No 1 bar on my list. Not to be missed."
July 2006 review: "One of the friendliest places around. Good prices. Understanding, Australian owner. Good music or other interesting shows on large screen TV's. 10 out of 10."

September 2007 review: "Prices a little higher now. I will email you an updated list for you to add to your site. Still one of the top bars in Cebu to visit."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.)
Love City Bar & KTV
Location: Mango Avenue, Cebu City
April 2006 review: "Yuck....floor show with a bunch of doofuses sitting around the stage in a circle. Looked like a voyeur convention with no one enjoying themselves." Sept 2007 review: "Love City hasn't changed, since I last visited in July 2006. Not worth it to me."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8.)
Papillon
Location: Mango Avenue, Cebu City
July 2005 review:

January 4, 2006: Club was raided by NBI (National Bureau of Investigation.) Per the Cebu Sunstar, "A bar manager and her 26 'entertainers' were arrested by the Cebu City Police Office in a raid last Wednesday night along Gen. Maxilom Ave."
( Bar re-opened shortly thereafter.)
July 2006 review: "Lots of good lookers here but it is too expensive. The girls are hustlers for drinks too, and usually in groups of 2 - 4. mamasan also hustles too much too for my tastes. I am well-known here but this trip Ididn't stay long - too much pressure to buy drinks exerted by everyone there.

July 2007 review: "Not worth your time, or money. Hustled too much inside bar."

Sisters Bar
Location: Mango Avenue, Cebu City

•Cover charge: none

•Barfine: When this reviewer asked the manager of this new club about barfines, she nervously replied "We don't have barfine." Cebu bikini bar managers/owners are currently defensive about this topic because of recent police harassment. It seems safe to assume this club DOES have barfines, just pick out your girl first before you ask about it.
Dancer / GRO / staff comments: friendly and attractive dancers.
Music: Not so loud (easy to have a conversation!)
Layout / condition of club: Street-level (wheelchair-accessible.) This compact, friendly and nicely outfitted club has soft lighting, a small stage and four small tables for sitting.
Sleaze & fun factor: Brief visit at 8pm did not afford opportunity to assess.
Summary: This newish place seems like a nice little club.

February 2006 review: "I was there last night (Fri) and it is very nicely decorated (red mostly.) Mamasan not too pushy, waitresses were the same. Now for the girls. If i barfined girls,I didn't see one in there that I would. Just your average filipino dancing girls."
Feb 2006 review: "Decor description: High quality sofa type. "L" shaped bar, many small tables and plenty open space to stand and drink. Predominate colour scheme Red.
Staff description. Two experienced floor managers (mamasans) Gina and Arlene. Both fluent in English and Japanese. Many attractive friendly (not pushy) girls. Numerous waitresses taking orders and being customer friendly when they have time. Could do with more bar staff to dispense the drinks faster.
Music. Varied and muted, unlike some other bars you don't need to keep shouting and saying "what?" all the time.
Overall impression: Will swiftly become a top leading 'girlie' bar in Cebu."
March 2006 review: "We had a great time at Temptation everytime we go there, the girls were very young and pretty and friendly, a few GRO's there, there was this GRO half Pinay and half Americana about 22 y.o I forgot her name, she speaks good English, loves American chocolates, bring some chocolate for her and she will entertain you all night......The Temptation set up kind of like Vikings with comfortable couches, one nice pool table set up in the back. If you are visiting Cebu, this club must be on top of your list and then the Lonestar, Vikings...."
April 2006 review: "Very nice, but few customers. Prettiest girl I saw was one of the waitresses. She would not discuss being barfined. Two very nice pool table set-ups. It actually the nicest place along Mango, but somehow hasn't caught on. I'll check it out again on my next trip."
July 2006 review: "Again, too much space between customers and the girls. Comments as for Viking."
July 2006 review: "Something for everyone:
-If you want to play pool, they have tables upstairs and the ladies will hang around, if you want.
-Like to be comfortably seated? They have a lounge area with comfortable sofas where you can sit with the girls while you watch the show on stage, if you are not otherwise distracted.
-Want to sit at the bar, watch the girls on stage and flirt with the waitresses? There is an area for that too."
February 2007 review: "Temptation asked for 1700 bar and girl."

October 2005 review: "In the top five bars in Cebu."

disco bars in cebu

1.)
Sunflower is a disco bar and live music. It is located in lahug, Cebu City, easy to find as it is just behind the Cebu City Waterfront hotel (huge palace like building from a distance) in fact it is realy huge even when near. Anyway, sunflower can be accessible by public transport (jeepney or by taxi) but I would advise to go on a taxi as the jeepneys route is quite a challenge to make it right the first time. although its the cheapest way (6php per jeepney ride), but on the downside, its not airconditioned and if your hair is a bit damp then, you will have an instant blow dry with dust cligning on it. Taxi is always a safe choice specially if you dont know the jeepney stops around the area. Just insist on the meter as sometimes you pay more with an agreed rates (drivers sometimes takes advantage of you specially if they think you dont know where youre going). If you are taking your own transport, there are lots of parking space, however, there will be people who will volunteer to look after your car while your away, I dont know for what but I guess its better, you can just give them whatever coins you have or around 10php, they will be happy with this. also, its an advantage to bring your own car as it is difficult to get a transport after 1 or 2 am. There is an entrance fee of about 300php (6-7 USD), and you get 2 drinks with that! so, its not bad. There is a huge stage extreme left from the entrance with live band and a dance floor just below the stage. There are a lot of setting area should you wish to have dinner and lot cocktail chairs and tables just next to the bar on the left side of the stage. The ambiance is great, this is also a travellers point where most tourist comes by so its a place to meet and greet. Just be on guard for gays as this place has many and you cant figure out a gay from a woman. But this place is really cool I recommend this place to anyone visiting Cebu...

2.)
Sinners and Saints is a bar/disco with food located in Banilad, Cebu City, its a walk away from Gaisano country mall (opposite side of the road). The name sounds naughty though and I was wondering all along what's behind it. The staff is either portraying an angel with matching wings and a halo on their head or a devilish flair - typical cape of black and red. It is accessible by Public transport (jeepneys) or by taxi. If you're taking your own car the parking is a bit challenging, however with the Mall being close you can just park your car there and walk. I went there with my barkadas (bestfriends in local dialect), its the first night out together since everyone came home for summer. The singer of the Band was our schoolmate back in highschool - so we went there. The beverage prices are cheap. Since we were a bunch of drinking all night friends, bottles are good buys! A bottle of Rum Bacardi cost 24USD and a bottle of JW Red is 30USD. The food though was quite over priced, but who cares when you have a bottle to drink? The food will taste like any other. The price for plate of Calamari is 120(2.20USD). but the priced of the peanuts in a platter (really small portion) is 60php (1.2USD) - we started thinking that they make money out of peanuts in this place! Anyway, if youre up for dancing on the stage or grabbing the microphone from the singer - this place is for you. The ambiance though is not as good as we expected but I believe wherever you go if the people you are with are fun to be with then its always a good time. The band was great, although its quite common in Cebu to see a quality band as this place is breeding talents.

We had so much fun that it was difficult to leave the place, the staff had to turn off the lights for us to make a decision of calling it a night.

3.)
Club Vudu is the best club in Cebu. I can't really vouch for that since It's the only club I visited while I was there... two nights in a row. Well, maybe it's true.

The club is a dual level party place. The Main room plays mainly hip-hop/R&B, while the VIP room on the second floor plays house music. The crowd is pretty much composed of the younger set - those who made it pass the minor age mark to those in their late twenties. Of course there's quite a number of expats and tourists who join in on the fun - Koreans being the majority of them. My friend tells me it's where foreign celebrities (like a certain Renee Zelwegger and Uma Thurman) slip in and out quietly. I don't know how much of that is true, it might be the booze talking.

As for the music, there was a lot of mixing going on in the main room, wherein once your favorite song starts to play expect it to last up until the chorus that fades into another song. You kinda feel cheated by the music - you hear YOUR song, but before you even get your groove on it's over. Not my cup of tea if you ask me. I like the my dance music to be at least 4 minutes long... that included 2 verses and 2 chorus lines and a minute of gradually fading into the next song. During the two nights I was there, nothing was going on in the VIP room - people where just standing and perhaps cruising each other. The music in the VIP room plays a little longer though.

As for the place itself, It's too small, It needs to have a bigger dance floor and the toilet needs to be improved too. But besides these observations, I think it's a pretty good place to just dance and drink the night away.

4.)
Pump is the newest addition to the Cebu nightlife dance scene. There are 2 locations; beside the Cebu Grand Convention Center, and in the back of Mango Square near the parking lot. Pump is a popular disco with a nice mix of music for the dance enthusiast!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.)
AutoShop Bar and Restaurant is in Mango Square near Fuente Osmena Circle and starts hopping about 10 pm, but get there early on weekends if you want to get a table. It's a little bit hidden towards the back so just ask someone if you can't find it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.)
Numero Doce
On a short visit to the Queen City of the South, my informer brought me to this PLU hang-out along mango ave. numero doce layout reminded me of rainbow project, the bar beside bed malate. open layout with just dance music in the background. my informer tells me that the place gets packed on weekends.

however, he tells me that the good looking, truly discreet cebuanos would not be seen in public. in rare occasions, they make their presence felt in this bar. lucky is the guy who bags such a treasure!

but it was a slow night that weekday. just a few tables with swishy types having red horse.

informer tells me, too, of the explosion of massage parlors in the city, all with extras included! too bad i didnt have time. maybe next time =)

dota on the go sa cebu

For me " gecube cafe" has the best dota players and teams to ever play in cebu! or ari mag kita tanang banggi-itan and show off there GOD given talent!!! if you havent heard of players there then your not in to DOTA in cebu!! period!!!
I interviewed one of the player there and his name was eric a.k.a galvs182

galvs182 says that "a group of professional gamers, with a passion for excellence in being the best of the best. We acquire virtual commodities (gold, armor, weapons, items, etc.) through skills and techniques we learn and sell the excess in wholesale to fund and serve our cause of research for the ultimate gaming experience." and he also added that "ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVES"

there is no such thing as BEST DOTA PLAYERS. but there is such a thing as best dota TEAM since it's a 5v5 game. no single player can stand a chance against a single team.

and if i recall it right, if you want to know the best dota player, GeCube did hold a 1v1 dota tournament and the player that one that was from Tres De Abril Labangon (CIT backgate) and not from any of the cafes you mentioned.

The Best Cebu Food

Indeed, it is always a pleasure to have the chance to eat good food. This provides the opportunity to bond with friends and family members as they eat and share meals together. The good food is a perfect match to the moment when people can talk about anything, and where the food is much more enjoyed. It is a good time to break away from the usual tedious routines and schedules and instead just enjoy the good food and the company of friends and families.

With the so many food cuisines and cooking styles that we are aware of, it is indeed hard for one to stand out and make us recall it easy. We have different standards and taste preferences, and most often, how we view food seems to be subjective.

Cebu Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew)

Cebu Dinuguan - Filipino bag from bits of meats and/or innar ds, largely pork, stewed in it’s blood and comes from the language dugo or blood. Cebu Dinuguan (too called dinardaraan in Ilocano, or pork blood stew in English) is a Filipino spicy stew of blood and meat simmered in a wealthy, spicy gravy of hog blood, garlic, chili and vinegar. Dinuguan in Cebu has more liquid while the dinardaraan in Ilocano is drier. Cebu Dinuguan is served better with warm steaming rice or paired with Filipino rice (PUTO). Cebu Dinuguan is then favorite in the Philippines that you will discover it at just about any function, from easy household gatherings to weddings. For foodies, gastronomic adventurers and those involved in strange cuisines, a well-made dinuguan, particularly with sweet chillies and from a household kitchen, can be rather a disclosure. Or you can seek cooking it yourself.

Cebu Sisig, the ultimate pulutan companion for beer

Cebu Sisig - Kapampangan condition whi ch means “to snack on something ta ngy” , it too means to consume something tangy as in sisigan ing mangga (gre enish mango) or sisig paro (prawn ceviche).
Cebu Sisig is a bag originating from
Pampanga, a state in Central Luzon which is known for its wealthy and tasty cuisine, one of the nutrient capitals in the Philippines.

lechon cebu "best of Asia" (roast pig)

Lechon baboy is one of the highlight of Filipin o
festivities, birthdays, wedding, family reunion and christmas parties. the dish was introduced by the Spaniards centuries ago while some evidence link it to Chinese immigrants. the most favorite part of Lechon is its crispy skin then dip into a liver base sauce yum. Lechon is a very delicious dish but some wasn't cook right thats why the skin was not that yummy and crispy. and what i like the best about lechon is its left over and transformed into another dish called Lechon Paksiw. pig is not the only animal th at can be roast other p opular form of lechon are chic ke n and cow. chicken is very much affordable and can be bought almost in every corner of the country. La Loma the area between the boun d ary of Manila and Quezon City is the "Lechon Capital Of The Philippines" many restaurants sell lechon there and the best of them all Mila's Lechon. Lechon of Cebu City is among the best in the Country.

Tinolang Tahong

Tinolang tahong is a simple Pinoy way of coo k ing tahong or mussels. The broth of tinolang tahon g is very refreshing. The best way to cook is first boil the water with the aromatics before adding the mussels. Should you prefer more broth then you have to add more water and little salt to taste. Lemongrass could be boiled with the water if you want an additional zest to the dish. Overcooking will shrink the mussel meat therefore it is very important that is should be cooked until the shells had opened.

Ginataang Kuhol

Guinataang kuhol. When I was working in Makati we us ed to frequently drink after office hours on a foodcourt near our office. Our favorite pulutan was guinataang kuhol that was abo ut 25 years ago. At that time we were not worried where t he snails came from. Today I would think twice before I buy snails, it is best to ask where those snails came from. Of course I a m not always satisfied by the shell monger’s answer, it is always best to clean the snails properly. I don’t rely on just breaking the tip of th e snail shell. I would recommend chopping it off and removing all visible entrails or better removing them from the shell and trimming off the entrails, wash thoroughly and returning them back to their shell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inihaw na Pusit

Inihaw na pusit is one of the most ordered food in any g rilled seafood restaurants and fassfoods or foodcourts. I myself have been ordering inihaw na pusit before until I was feed up on the quality of restaurant's inihaw na pusit. Most of the time their inihaw are not fresh or have been pre-cooked and of course overcooked to the point that the squid meat is like rubber. To have a soft and succulent grilled squid it should only be grilled or cooked briefly otherwise the meat will be hard as rubber. Can you imagine a half cooked un-fresh, bilasang pusit, and the rip-off prices these r estaurants are charging for their un-edible grilled squid.

Sinigang na Baboy with kamias Flavored Soup

Sinigang is a beef innards and skin soup, flavored with bile and kamias specialty of Vigan. When you’re at Vigan sinanglao are served at street side eateries in the morning. Versi on defends on family preferences, some substitute kamias with tamarind or even vinegar. Some even refer papaitan as sinanglao. Ingredients are readily available at the Vigan wet market and are sold in sets complete with coagulated blood and bile. Sourcing the ingredients elsewhere especially if you are over seas is a problem. Not unless you can order from the butcher strait from the slaughterhouse. The papaitan sets or tripes, beef hocks and tail with skin sold in some meat shops when you’re overseas are a good substitute. My sinanglao ingredients are sourced using papait an set sold at wet market and the beef face and tendons bought from beef section of supermarket.

Liempo or Grilled Pork Belly

Liempo or grilled pork belly. Tinuno or inihaw is a popular way of cooking fresh meat and fish in Ilocos. Using the basic or simple marinade only or just season with salt in this way the true flavors of the meat or fish is not masked but enhance d by the marinade used. Pork belly is one of the best parts of pork for grilling. Especially if the pork is really fresh, means just butchered. Just season the liempo with salt and strait to the charcoals. How I miss those fiestas in the province where backyard grown hogs are butchered just for the occasion.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inihaw na Bangus or Grilled Milkfish

Inihaw na bangus, grilled milkfish. I once live along a coastal barangay along the Laguna bay. When in season or when the fish pens over flows due to typhoon bangus are a bargain. T he best way of cooking fresh bangus would of course grilling and my personal favorite is with onion, tomato, ginger and bagoong alamang stuffing wraped in aluminum foil. Aluminum f oil traps all the juices from the fish and the stuffings which then steam infused all the flavors to the fish. The fish is moderately charred outside but really moist inside. Grilled bangus dip in a mixture of soy sauce, kalamansi and hot sili make everyone droll.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lechon Manok

Lechon manok, turbo broiled chicken. Here is a fathers day special lechon manok. I love Andok’s lechon manok, it is just roast right to tenderness. The aroma of lemon grass, the sour, salty and succulent chicken meat dip in sweet lechon s auce. Here is the recipe of my broiled chicken similar to the popular Andok’s lechon manok. The secret is do not overcook the chicken. The meat should be tender and succulent.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bicol Express

Bicol express, gulay na lada. Here is a fiery dish associated with the Bicolanos as the name connotes. It is widely acknowledged that Bicol express was invented in Manila, what’s in a nam e, it is a fact that these dish is similar to gulay na lada which is a popular native Bicolano dish.

To tune down the fieriness of the original dish I have used mixed jalapeno chilies and siling haba, again you could always use your own ratio or if you can handle really hot use only siling haba. For an added zest I added a couple of pinches of turmeric this will also give little color to the whitish original dish.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
La Paz Batchoy

La Paz batchoy has always been my favorite mami noodle. The nature of my work require that I travel to different places and Iloilo is one of the place I could never forget, food is one the City’s attractions. To name a few they have chicken inasal, piaya, biscocho, pancit molo and of course La Paz batcho y. La Paz batchoy is a must dish when ever I travel to Iloilo, the authentic La Paz batchoy of Iloilo has that distinct salty, sweet and spicy flavor that is only unique in Iloilo.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pork Barbecue

Pork barbecue is another popular food of Pinoys. It is often sold at neighborhood street hawker in the evenings. Pork barbecue is one of the favorite of children and of course by all. There are no rules on the ingredients of the marinade, from soy sauce with kalamansi to the banana ketchup laden street barbecue or to the worcestershire sauce spiced barbecue of your favorite restaura nt. The easiest and fastest way is to use the commercial barbecue marinade. The best barbecue should be grilled just cook with the slight charcoal burnt on the meat. Definitely do not overcook if you don’t like dry and hard barbecue. If its possible always cook in an open flame charcoal grill.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Humbang Baboy

Humba, Adobong Bisaya is very popular dish in Visayas and most part of Mindanao, at some places they call it adobong Bisaya. Humba is basically cooked same way with adobo, it is a bit salty and sometimes sweetened with panocha or brown sugar but not too sweet compared to the Tagalog version. It has to be cooked dry and oily, to keep the shelf life longer with out refrigeration. It is during fiestas that this dish is prepared when the pigs are slaughtered for the celebration.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Talaba (Oyster)

It was tedious afternoon when my wife and I decided to put some color of adventure for our day, we decided to buy some oyster and to be eaten during sunday-get-together-snack. It was not my first time to go there, whenever we crave for talaba (yes i.e. oyster) we instantly go to ‘Lacion or Liloan Market to buy some. Befo

re it cost 30/kilo but now due to inflation/gasoline (I don’t know if they only make the gasoline an excuse to increase their price), it cost 35/kilo.

I was sad when I learned that due to pollution and environmental conditions the Talaba farm in ‘Lacion cannot produce their own talaba , alternatively they have to get their supplies from neighbouring province like Negros. Every two weeks or so they have to transport thirty (30) bags of oyster and have it place on their own pond in order to live.

It is a very unpleasant fact that the place who used to develop and produce this d electable food are crippled by the human abuse of the environment.

Pochero

We saw these wonderful beef shanks at the grocery and they were screaming “pochero, pochero!” so we brought them home, took out a large enameled pot and started cooking them… Pochero is the Cebuano term for what is essentially the Tagalog Beef Bulalo, though with a few other ingredients at play. First, I rinsed the beef shanks and placed them in a single layer in the pot. Added water to about an inch over the shanks and brought this up to a boil. After a minute or two, I threw out all of the water, carefully rinsed

the shanks and replaced them back in the now cleaned pot, added more water and turned the heat back on. This step is meant to reduce the amount of scum that appears and which you have to skim off. The scum turns into a cloudier broth later on. Having done this extra step, I have to admit that there was still some scum that formed during the second boiling…

Kinilaw/Ceviche

Kinilaw is Filipino raw-fish salad that’s extremely popular in the Southern Visayas region. It’s similar to a Ceviche and is served as a side dish, but is an excellent appetizer. It’s refreshing, tasty and a great party dish. It’s raw fish soaked in vinegar and acompanied by other spices like ginger, garlic, chili and onions.
